Farewell to the Original Kearns Pool

After nearly 60 years, the Original pool has reached its lifespan and is no longer feasible or safe to keep open.

Since 1966, the Original Kearns Pool has been more than just a facility. It has been a place where friendships were made, milestones were achieved, and memories were created. As we prepare to say goodbye to this beloved space, we invite you to join us in celebrating its legacy with two special farewell events.

Chalk It Up To The Good Times

Join us for the last Water Fitness classes that will be held in the Original Kearns Pool. Take this special opportunity to write your memories or messages on the walls of the building before it is torn down.

Splish Splash One Last Bash

Celebrate with us on Saturday, September 6th at our farewell event for alumni and members. Get one last swim, enjoy fun activities, and say goodbye to the indoor competition pool.

Event Schedule:

• Last Swim Race: 9:00 – 10:00 AM
• Last Water Polo Game: 10:00 – 11:00 AM
• Last Plunge: 12:00 – 5:00 PM

You are also encouraged to stop by anytime during the day to share your goodbyes.

A Grateful Goodbye

For nearly six decades, the indoor competition pool has brought joy, community, and lasting memories. We extend heartfelt thanks to the many people who have supported the facilities, participated in events, and made this pool a cherished part of our history.
