We have worked on finding contractors who would be able to remodel this pool; however, due to the age of the pool and the state of the structure, there have been no contractors who would take on the project, and no engineers willing to approve any proposal to rehabilitate the structure.
Twice we have gone to the public to vote on a bond to build a new pool. Both times, the community rejected the bond. The cost of building a new pool is $26 million.
